Financial Planning Process
Our process begins with an initial client meeting.
Initial Client Meeting: This initial meeting is an opportunity to discuss your financial situation, goals, and areas where you might want our help. It is also an opportunity for you to get to know us and our services. It is an opportunity to see if we have a good fit for working together on such an important aspect of your life. If you choose to work with AFA, you will work an experienced, objective, fee-only NAPFA FINANCIAL PLANNER; you’ll be working with one of the most competent and trusted advisors in the industry. It is important that we both feel comfortable with each other and have good working chemistry.
The initial meeting usually runs about 45 minutes. Please bring along investment statements, your tax return, and the answers to as many questions as possible from our Client Questionnaire. The more information the better it is for us to determine the amount of effort and scope required for the engagement.
